Hungarian Grand Prix: our favorite European race and here it is why!

The Hungarian Grand Prix in Budapest will take place on the 27th of July this year.

THE CODE 20 has been visiting that race for the last couple of years and it has gained a place in our heart as the most favorite European race for various reasons.

Budapest is divided by Danube river into two parts: Buda and Pest. With a unique, youthful atmosphere, a premier classical music scene, a pulsating nightlife and an exceptionally rich offering of natural thermal baths, Budapest is rightfully one of Europe’s most delightful and enjoyable cities. Due to its scenic setting, its architecture and its extensive World Heritage Site, it is nicknamed “Paris of the East”.

Once there, don’t miss walking the world famous Chain Bridge, visiting the renovated Császár Baths – Veli Bej built in 1570 or enjoy signature treatments at the Fours Seasons Spa that combine the remarkable effects of Hungary’s mineral-rich thermal waters.

For fine dining, reserve in advance a table at Michelin star Costes Restaurant or Nobu at Kempinski Hotel, which are the choice of preference for many F1 drivers and the elite of the paddock. For clubbing or drinks, Symbol club is the place to be and be seen.

At last but not least, when it comes to shopping, do not miss visiting Szandra Sándor’s showroom, Nanouska Clothes, at Csónak utca 7 at the Castle district. Despite the young of her age, she is one of Hungary’s most famous designers and her brand has grown to be synonymous with casual deluxe around the globe, including NYC and LA.

Enjoy the Hungarian Grand Prix!
